Manager - International Freight and Clearing

About the role

Red Sea Coastal Trading Company is seeking a Manager to lead its International Freight and Clearing operations. The role ensures seamless movement of goods across the Red Sea coast and beyond, supporting the company’s sustainability and operational excellence goals.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage all aspects of the shipment process, including booking, documentation, and customs clearance.
• Communicate with clients, suppliers, and carriers to guarantee timely delivery.
• Arrange transportation services such as trucking, shipping, and air freight to meet shipment requirements.
• Prepare and process shipping and customs documents, including bills of lading, commercial invoices, and export/import paperwork.
• Ensure compliance with international trade regulations and customs requirements.
• Track shipments, resolve delays, and provide exceptional customer service.
• Optimize shipping routes and methods to reduce costs and improve efficiency.
• Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices.
• Collaborate with the logistics team to streamline operations and improve overall supply chain performance.
• Follow functional policies, procedures, and standards, and assist in preparing accurate MIS reports.

Required profile

• Proven experience in freight forwarding or international logistics.
• Strong knowledge of customs clearance processes and trade regulations.
• Excellent communication skills with clients, carriers, and internal stakeholders.
• Ability to monitor shipments and proactively resolve issues.
• Detail‑oriented approach to documentation and compliance.
