Manager, Specialist Sales (SME Lead)

About the role

Mastercard is seeking a Manager, Specialist Sales to lead the SME segment in Saudi Arabia. Based in Riyadh, the role focuses on driving sales growth of SME card and payment solutions through consultative client engagement and strategic partnership development.

Key responsibilities

• Identify client opportunities, develop propositions, and recommend card and payment solutions that support revenue and profitability.
• Build and manage a strong pipeline, conduct on‑site client interactions, needs assessments, and solution positioning across financial and non‑financial partners.
• Originate and convert new business opportunities, develop SME ecosystem plays, and commercialize signed deals to achieve measurable revenue outcomes.
• Contribute to SME P&L objectives and support regional sales priorities aligned with Saudi Arabia business goals.
• Identify product, proposition and business innovation opportunities within the SME payment segment.
• Act as a client‑facing consultant, diagnosing needs, shaping recommendations, and enabling execution across sales, product and market teams.

Required profile

• Strong knowledge of cards, commercial payments, issuing propositions and hands‑on sales experience in the SME segment.
• Proven track record in the payments industry with strategic thinking and consulting capabilities.
• Experience in solution selling or advisory‑led client management, including on‑site engagement and opportunity shaping.
• Excellent negotiation, influencing and stakeholder management skills, with ability to drive outcomes without direct authority.
• High bias for action, disciplined sales execution, and strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Executive presence and strong communication, presentation and writing skills for senior stakeholder engagement.
