Market Access Manager

About the role

The Market Access Manager will lead Takeda’s efforts to secure formulary access and preferred status for its portfolio across Saudi Arabia. You will work closely with health authorities, payers and internal stakeholders to shape access strategies, support tender submissions and drive pricing and budgeting initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement local market access strategies, including value stories, economic models and dossiers.
• Coordinate with regional stakeholders and health authorities to obtain, defend or optimise market access for Takeda products.
• Lead tender preparation, submission and contract management to maximise opportunities in the tender channel.
• Support pricing strategy localisation, forecasting and budgeting to ensure compliance with pricing governance.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activities and regulatory changes to identify risks and opportunities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in pharmacy, pharmaceutical sciences or clinical pharmacy; a postgraduate degree in HEOR is preferred.
• Minimum 4 years of pharmaceutical industry experience, including at least 2 years in a market access role.
• Strong understanding of Saudi healthcare and reimbursement systems and experience in complex markets.
• Proven strategic planning, problem‑solving and stakeholder‑engagement skills.
