Mechanical Design Engineer – SolidWorks

About the role

We are seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer with strong SolidWorks expertise to develop industrial machines and components for our manufacturing operations in Jeddah. The role involves creating detailed 3D models, assemblies and production‑ready drawings, and collaborating closely with production and fabrication teams.

Key responsibilities

• Create 3D models, assemblies and detailed manufacturing drawings using SolidWorks.
• Design industrial machines, mechanical parts and sheet‑metal components.
• Prepare Bills of Materials (BOM) and related technical documentation.
• Review dimensions, tolerances, materials and manufacturing requirements.
• Modify existing designs to improve performance and reliability.
• Coordinate with CNC, laser‑cutting and fabrication teams during production.
• Monitor manufacturing and assembly of designed components and resolve technical issues.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• 2–5 years of experience in mechanical design and industrial manufacturing.
• Proficiency in English, both written and spoken.

Required skills

• SolidWorks (including assemblies and sheet‑metal design).
• AutoCAD.
• Bill of Materials (BOM) preparation.
• Technical drawing creation and interpretation.
• Knowledge of materials, welding, machining and production processes.
