Mechanical Engineer Internship

About the role

Worley is seeking a Mechanical Engineer Intern to support its engineering teams on a variety of projects. This role offers hands‑on experience in mechanical design, analysis, and documentation while working alongside seasoned professionals in a global energy and resources environment.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in delivering mechanical engineering services in line with project specifications, standards, and schedules.
• Support the preparation of engineering drawings, technical specifications, calculations, reports, and equipment datasheets.
• Participate in engineering studies, technical analyses, and design reviews.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams and project stakeholders.
• Help troubleshoot engineering issues and develop practical solutions.
• Support site visits, inspections, testing activities, and documentation updates when required.
• Ensure compliance with company safety procedures, quality standards, and engineering practices.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Basic understanding of mechanical engineering principles and design practices.
• Familiarity with engineering software and Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team‑oriented environment.
• Eagerness to learn and develop technical and professional skills.
