Mechanical Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Mechanical Engineer to join LG Electronics’ engineering team. The role focuses on creating and refining 3D mechanical designs for components and systems that support our diverse product portfolio.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and optimise 3D designs for mechanical components using AutoCAD, SolidWorks or similar CAD tools.
• Review and interpret technical specifications to ensure design accuracy, efficiency and functionality.
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation, including drawings, reports, calculations and BOMs using Excel and other tools.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams such as production, maintenance and quality to resolve technical issues and improve operational efficiency.
• Ensure designs comply with safety standards, engineering best practices and quality requirements.
• Conduct equipment and system inspections, providing technical support and recommendations for reliability improvements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related field.
• 1–2 years of experience in mechanical engineering or a similar role.
• Proficiency with 3D design software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks or equivalent).
• Strong ability to create, manage and revise technical documentation.
• Basic understanding of mechanical systems, materials and engineering principles.
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and specifications.
