Mechanical Engineer – Site Supervision (Saudi Arabia)

About the role

Mapa is seeking an experienced Mechanical Engineer to join its project team in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The role focuses on supervising, coordinating, and executing mechanical installation works on‑site, ensuring compliance with design, quality, and safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate all mechanical installation activities on site.
• Ensure works follow approved drawings, technical specifications, project standards, and schedules.
• Monitor installation of HVAC, plumbing, firefighting, piping, and mechanical equipment.
• Coordinate daily activities with subcontractors, construction teams, and multidisciplinary engineers.
• Track progress, manpower, material, and equipment availability.
• Identify and resolve technical and operational issues during execution.
• Inspect completed works for quality and HSE compliance.
• Review shop drawings, method statements, material submittals, and technical documents.
• Oversee testing, inspection, pre‑commissioning, and commissioning phases.
• Prepare daily and weekly site progress reports.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum 8 years of site experience on superstructure projects.
• Proven track record in supervising mechanical works.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, firefighting, piping, and mechanical equipment installations.
• Experience in building or industrial construction environments.
• Willingness to work actively on‑site in Saudi Arabia.
• Good command of written and spoken English.
