Mechanical Maintenance Technician (Rotating Equipment)

About the role

Eram Talent is recruiting a Mechanical Maintenance Technician (Rotating) for its client's team in Saudi Arabia, based on site in Al Jubail. The role covers the maintenance, repair and troubleshooting of rotating equipment such as turbines, compressors, pumps and motors, which are critical to industrial operations.

Key responsibilities

• Perform preventive, predictive and corrective maintenance on pumps, compressors, turbines, blowers and gearboxes
• Troubleshoot mechanical failures and carry out root cause analysis
• Carry out precision alignment, dynamic balancing and overhaul in line with OEM standards
• Run condition monitoring such as vibration analysis, temperature monitoring and performance checks
• Maintain seals, bearings, couplings and lubrication systems
• Read mechanical drawings, P&IDs and technical manuals
• Support shutdowns, turnarounds and major maintenance activities
• Record maintenance work in the CMMS (e.g. SAP PM) and follow HSE policies and permit-to-work systems
• Recommend improvements to reduce failures and mentor junior technicians

Required profile

• Diploma or technical certification in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
• At least 10 years of experience maintaining rotating equipment in petrochemical, refinery or oil and gas
• Hands-on experience with pumps, compressors, turbines and similar machinery
• Experience in shutdowns/turnarounds highly preferred

Required skills

• Alignment, balancing, vibration analysis and troubleshooting
• CMMS systems such as SAP PM or equivalent
• Reading mechanical drawings and P&IDs
• Safety standards and maintenance best practices
