Mechanical Shift Supervisor

About the role

The Mechanical Shift Supervisor is responsible for overseeing all mechanical maintenance activities during the assigned shift. The role ensures equipment reliability, minimizes downtime, and supports safe and efficient plant operations.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise corrective, preventive, and emergency mechanical maintenance tasks.
• Monitor maintenance work to ensure compliance with maintenance plans and safety procedures.
• Conduct field inspections and oversee the performance of the shift team.
• Review inspection reports and coordinate corrective actions.
• Prepare shift maintenance reports, documenting equipment breakdowns and follow‑up actions.
• Review engineering drawings and technical documents related to maintenance activities.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• 2–4 years of experience in mechanical maintenance within an industrial environment.
• Experience in the cement industry is preferred.
• Strong reporting and communication abilities.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
