Mechanical Supervisor – Rotating Equipment (2‑week project)

About the role

Renco is seeking an experienced Mechanical Supervisor to lead the installation and erection of compressors and rotating equipment on the SASREF project in Jubail, Saudi Arabia. This is a short‑term, two‑week assignment focused on delivering safe, precise, and efficient mechanical works in line with project specifications and client standards.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise mechanical installation and erection activities for compressors and rotating equipment.
• Lead and coordinate a team of mechanical technicians on‑site.
• Oversee precision alignment, leveling, torquing, and bolting of rotating machinery.
• Review drawings, technical specifications, and work requirements before execution.
• Ensure all activities are performed safely, correctly, and within the agreed schedule.
• Collaborate with Project, Construction, QA/QC, and HSE teams.
• Monitor installation quality, identify technical issues, and implement corrective actions.
• Provide technical guidance, support inspection, testing, punch‑list clearance, and final completion tasks.
• Maintain housekeeping and safe working practices in the assigned area.

Required profile

• Strong hands‑on knowledge of compressors and rotating machinery.
• Proven experience in mechanical installation and erection of rotating equipment.
• Ability to supervise and guide a mechanical crew on a fast‑paced project.
• Familiarity with site safety standards and SASREF procedures.
