Mechanical/Electrical Technician – GSE Maintenance

About the role

The Mechanical/Electrical Technician ensures that ground support equipment (GSE) and specialised operational tools remain operational and safe for daily use. You will perform both preventive and corrective maintenance, diagnose faults, and support the operations team with reliable equipment availability.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance on GSE and specialised equipment.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical faults.
• Perform equipment inspections, testing, repairs and routine checks.
• Ensure maintenance tasks meet quality standards and are completed on schedule.
• Follow OEM maintenance guidelines and technical procedures.
• Conduct daily equipment checks before release for operations.
• Coordinate with Operations and technical teams regarding equipment status.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and prepare performance reports.
• Guarantee compliance with safety and operational procedures.

Required profile

• Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, Automotive, Auto‑Mechanic or a related technical field.
• 2‑3 years of experience in maintenance, workshop operations, vehicle or GSE maintenance.
• Proven experience with preventive and corrective maintenance.
• Ability to work independently, read technical manuals, drawings and equipment instructions.
• Familiarity with computerized maintenance systems.
