Quality Assurance Specialist

About the role

The Quality Assurance Specialist will oversee the Quality Management System, conduct inspections, manage warranty cases, and drive continuous improvement across AIC's operations.

Key responsibilities

• Review internal Quality Management System (QMS) against international standards, identify gaps, and propose amendments to align with AIC’s adopted standards.
• Amend QMS activities, processes and documents, and ensure communication and adherence across AIC functions.
• Review and update inspection and testing procedures semi‑annually to incorporate international standards, and train the quality team on the changes.
• Validate rejection notes, coordinate with Engineering, and ensure that non‑conforming material is not released without proper approvals.
• Develop and follow up on corrective‑preventive action plans, conducting root‑cause analysis and presenting recommendations to reduce future rejections.
• Manage warranty case claims, perform on‑site investigations, prepare root‑cause analysis reports and negotiate case acceptance with Production and General Management.
• Create and analyse annual customer satisfaction surveys and supplier evaluation scorecards, presenting findings and action plans at Management Review Meetings.
• Control document and form distribution, maintain document control processes, and monitor compliance with quality policies, processes and procedures.
