Medical Science Liaison, Bleeding Disorders – Middle East

About the role

Hemab is seeking a Medical Science Liaison (MSL) focused on rare bleeding disorders across the GCC region. The role will build scientific relationships with clinicians, investigators and patient communities while feeding field insights back into development and medical affairs. Immediate priority includes supporting SOLARA site activation and investigator engagement in Saudi Arabia.

Key responsibilities

• Establish peer‑level scientific relationships with hematologists, investigators and care teams at GCC tertiary referral centres.
• Support SOLARA site activation and investigator engagement in Saudi Arabia, collaborating with Development and Medical Affairs.
• Gather and translate field insights into actionable input for study recruitment, evidence generation and regional medical strategy.
• Lead data‑driven scientific exchange about Hemab’s pipeline and relevant rare bleeding disorders.
• Identify potential study sites and investigators, contributing to feasibility and recruitment planning.
• Engage patient organisations and professional societies to understand patient needs and barriers to care.
• Translate complex scientific and clinical data for clinicians, researchers and health authorities.
• Establish effective field medical ways of working as Hemab expands its GCC presence.

Required profile

• Proven experience as an MSL or comparable field medical/scientific liaison role.
• Experience working with GCC tertiary referral centres, hematology specialists or regional health authorities.
• Strong scientific grounding with ability to explain complex clinical and mechanistic data clearly.
• Experience supporting clinical trials, including site engagement, feasibility, recruitment or investigator relationships.
• Demonstrated ability to gather field intelligence and convert it into actionable input for internal teams.
• Fluency in Arabic and English.
