Medical Science Liaison – Rare Diseases

About the role

As a Medical Science Liaison within the Specialty Care team, you will act as a trusted bridge between Sanofi and the healthcare community, translating cutting‑edge clinical science into real‑world insights that improve patient outcomes. Key responsibilities

• Establish and manage balanced, trustworthy relationships with scientific external experts and key healthcare stakeholders to uncover patient needs and clinical opportunities.
• Provide accurate, balanced, and timely scientific information on rare diseases and Sanofi’s therapeutic portfolio to healthcare professionals and decision‑makers.
• Collaborate with Medical Affairs and clinical teams to coordinate Phase III/IV projects, identify real‑world evidence opportunities, and support site selection for studies.
• Gather field intelligence on competitor activities, patient journeys, and ecosystem dynamics, and relay insights to the brand team to shape strategy.

Required profile

• Background in pharmaceutical, medical, or clinical environments with proven success building relationships with healthcare professionals.
• University degree in life sciences (MD, PhD, PharmD or advanced degree preferred); experience in specialty care or rare diseases is a plus.
• Strong communication and presentation abilities to simplify complex clinical topics and excellent negotiation skills.
• Familiarity with omnichannel and digital communication tools for remote‑based work and a good understanding of clinical development and research.
