Medical Value Lead – Malignant Hematology

About the role

Roche is seeking a Medical Value Lead for Malignant Hematology to act as a scientifically grounded partner within its customer engagement model. The role focuses on building relationships with external stakeholders, translating clinical insights into strategy, and supporting the delivery of innovative therapies.

Key responsibilities

• Shape and execute the local medical strategy, delivering a differentiated value story across the asset lifecycle.
• Develop peer-to-peer relationships with top academic experts and healthcare professionals through non-promotional scientific exchanges.
• Collect and analyse field-based insights, including patient perspectives, to inform disease strategy and identify clinical gaps.
• Provide high-quality medical education, lead scientific advisory boards, and support internal capability building.
• Collaborate with Clinical Operations and Regulatory teams on study site engagement, health authority interactions, and trial feasibility.
• Maintain data integrity as custodian of medical and competitor information, ensuring rigorous scientific standards and appropriate human oversight for digital inquiries.

Required profile

• Completed degree in Medicine, Pharmacy, or Natural Sciences (MD, PharmD, PhD or equivalent).
• Solid experience in Medical Affairs, Clinical Research or a related clinical role within a therapeutic domain.
• Strong, assertive communication skills with proven ability to engage in peer-to-peer scientific dialogue.
• Strategic thinking ability and comfort with digital tools, including awareness of AI-derived content and the need for human validation.
• Fluency in English and Arabic for global and regional collaboration.
