Mining Sales Engineer

About the role

The Mining Sales Engineer will drive revenue growth by promoting and selling drilling rigs and related mining equipment across the Eastern Province and throughout Saudi Arabia. You will work closely with customers in mining, quarrying, construction and industrial sectors, providing technical guidance and ensuring excellent service.

Key responsibilities

• Promote and sell drilling rigs and mining‑related equipment to customers in targeted sectors.
• Identify new business opportunities while maintaining strong relationships with existing clients.
• Conduct customer visits, technical presentations and product demonstrations.
• Prepare quotations, proposals and tenders, negotiate commercial agreements and close sales.
• Provide technical advice and recommend suitable equipment based on customer requirements.
• Coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely order processing, delivery and after‑sales support.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activity and customer needs to uncover new sales opportunities.
• Achieve monthly and annual sales targets aligned with company objectives.
• Prepare regular sales reports, forecasts and customer visit summaries.
• Represent the company at industry events, exhibitions and client meetings.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Mining, Industrial Engineering or a related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of proven sales experience in the mining sector, preferably selling drilling rigs or heavy industrial machinery.
• Demonstrated track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
• Strong technical understanding of drilling equipment and mining operations.
• Excellent negotiation, presentation and customer relationship management abilities.
• Willingness to travel extensively across the Eastern Province and the wider Kingdom.
