Network Engineer

About the role

Exequt is a Riyadh‑based cybersecurity, networking, and infrastructure services company supporting banks, ministries, and enterprises across Saudi Arabia. We are seeking a Network Engineer to help maintain reliable, secure, and high‑performing customer and internal networks.

Key responsibilities

• Configure, monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot core and enterprise network infrastructure.
• Administer and support Cisco and Fortinet switches, routers, firewalls, VPNs, and related security controls.
• Monitor network availability, performance, capacity, and security events, escalating incidents when required.
• Investigate connectivity, routing, switching, and access issues and document root‑cause findings.
• Implement approved network changes, upgrades, backups, and configuration standards with appropriate change control.
• Collaborate with cybersecurity, SOC, infrastructure, and client teams on secure network design and incident response.
• Maintain accurate diagrams, asset records, operating procedures, and technical reports.
• Support compliance‑focused projects aligned with applicable Saudi cybersecurity and information security requirements.

Required profile

• Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, OSI model, VLANs, routing, DNS, DHCP, NAT, and related networking concepts.
• Hands‑on experience with Cisco switches, routers, and Fortinet firewalls, including security policies, VPNs, and high‑availability configurations.
• Familiarity with network monitoring, diagnostic tools, change management, configuration backup, and documentation processes.
