About the role
Novelus Team is seeking a skilled Network and Infrastructure Engineer (Level 2) to maintain reliable operation of its enterprise infrastructure and networks. You will own escalated incidents, perform system and network maintenance, and collaborate with cybersecurity and vendor teams.
Key responsibilities
- Administer Windows and Linux servers, Active Directory, DNS/DHCP, virtualization, storage and backup platforms.
- Operate and troubleshoot LAN/WAN, switches, routers, Wi‑Fi, VPN and related connectivity services.
- Own escalated incidents from diagnosis through restoration, coordinating with L3, OEM, ISP and vendors.
- Monitor system health, performance metrics and capacity, recommending preventive actions.
- Apply patches, upgrades and configuration changes using documented procedures and maintenance windows.
- Validate backup success, investigate failures and conduct restore tests and DR exercises.
- Implement system hardening, vulnerability remediation and privileged‑access controls.
- Maintain network diagrams, CMDB records, runbooks and create automation for repetitive tasks.
Required profile
- 5–8 years of enterprise infrastructure experience, including at least 3 years handling L2 incidents.
- Strong knowledge of networking (TCP/IP, VLANs, routing, switching, Wi‑Fi, VPN, DNS/DHCP) and systems (Windows Server, Active Directory, Linux).
- Experience with virtualization, SAN/NAS storage, backup/recovery processes and RPO/RTO concepts.
- Relevant certifications such as CCNA, CCNP Enterprise or equivalent.
- Ability to work with cybersecurity engineers on hardening and vulnerability remediation.
