Network Systems & Data Security Administrator

About the role

The Network Systems & Data Security Administrator will protect the organisation's network perimeter, identity infrastructure, and critical data assets. You will manage a wide range of security technologies, ensure compliance with hardening standards, and work closely with infrastructure and development teams.

Key responsibilities

• Administer Cisco Firepower firewalls and Cisco FMC for centralized policy management.
• Support Palo Alto firewalls, including policy tuning, NAT, and traffic inspection.
• Manage Broadcom Bluecoat web proxy, DDoS protection (Arbor, Akamai), and F5 platforms (APM, ASM, GTM).
• Configure network segmentation, firewall rule optimisation, and secure connectivity across environments.
• Administer Cisco ISE and ForeScout NAC for device visibility and network admission control.
• Maintain IAM/MFA solutions (OneIdentity, Azure MFA) and privileged access management (Delinea).
• Oversee endpoint protection (Symantec, Microsoft Defender), email security gateway, and file integrity monitoring.
• Run vulnerability scans with Qualys and Tenable Nessus, coordinate patching and remediation.
• Support data loss prevention (Microsoft DLP, Purview) and application security tools (Checkmarx, SecureEyes, Imperva).

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in network security, cybersecurity operations, or security administration.
• Hands‑on experience with multiple security platforms and strong networking knowledge (TCP/IP, DNS, VPN, routing, switching).
• Proven ability to integrate security tools with SIEM, SOAR, IAM and endpoint solutions.
