Neurology Consultant

About the role

The Neurology Consultant provides high‑quality inpatient and outpatient care, ensuring evidence‑based practice and compliance with Saudi Ministry of Health regulations. The role combines direct patient management with leadership of the neurology department.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive neurological care to in‑patients and out‑patients within clinical privileges.
• Conduct regular ward rounds, develop multidisciplinary treatment plans, and perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
• Participate in on‑call rotations, respond to emergencies, and coordinate referrals to appropriate facilities.
• Maintain accurate, timely medical records while safeguarding patient confidentiality.
• Lead departmental quality‑improvement initiatives and supervise junior medical staff.
• Engage in continuous medical education, research activities, and national/international conferences.
• Provide training for junior doctors, nursing staff, and technicians.

Required profile

• Medical degree with board certification in Neurology.
• Licensed to practice medicine in Saudi Arabia.
• Proven experience in both inpatient and outpatient neurological care.
• Strong leadership and supervisory abilities.
• Commitment to professional ethics, evidence‑based medicine, and continuous learning.
