Nursery Logistics Manager – Sustainable Plant Operations

About the role

The Nursery Logistics Manager will lead all logistics activities related to the import, handling, quarantine, storage, and dispatch of plants for Botanica’s sustainable landscaping projects. This role ensures plant quality, bio‑security compliance, and timely delivery to support large‑scale landscape developments across the Red Sea region.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate importation of plants and trees from local and international suppliers, managing EXW, CIF, and DDP shipments.
• Secure all required import permits, phytosanitary certificates, SABER registration, and customs documentation before arrival.
• Track shipment schedules, proactively address delays, damages, or compliance risks.
• Supervise receiving, unloading, and verification of quantities, specifications, and plant health standards.
• Manage inspection, quarantine, and acclimatization processes with Biosecurity and Quality teams.
• Ensure accurate tagging, documentation, and inventory entry for all received material.
• Handle corrective actions for rejected, damaged, or non‑compliant plant shipments.
• Support plant sourcing activities in partnership with Procurement and Nursery Production to meet project demand.
• Liaise with freight forwarders, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure seamless logistics flow.

Required profile

• Proven experience planning, coordinating, and controlling logistics activities for plant importation and distribution.
• Familiarity with phytosanitary regulations, customs procedures, and bio‑security standards.
• Ability to act as a central link between Procurement, Nurseries, Freight Forwarders, Biosecurity, and Project Delivery teams.
