OCC Liaison Officer – Metro/Rail

About the role

The OCC Liaison Officer acts as the primary communication link between the Operations Control Centre (OCC) and all key stakeholders during the Operations & Maintenance phase of a metro project. The role ensures smooth coordination, real‑time information flow, and timely operational support across teams and contractors.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the main communication channel between the OCC and relevant stakeholders.
• Coordinate real‑time updates, service adjustments, and operational instructions.
• Support the OCC in handling incidents, service disruptions, and emergency situations.
• Disseminate alerts, operational data, and instructions to field teams promptly.
• Maintain structured communication protocols for routine and emergency operations.
• Facilitate coordination among OCC, O&M contractors, and technical teams.
• Monitor information flow to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
• Assist in operational reporting, coordination meetings, and reviews.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Operations, Transport Management, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in control‑room operations, preferably in metro or rail systems.
• Strong understanding of OCC operations, workflows, and incident management.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to multitask and make decisions under high‑pressure, time‑sensitive conditions.
