Occupancy & Space Workstream Lead

About the role

JLL is hiring an Occupancy and Workspace Workstream Lead for its client in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The role leads workplace and occupancy planning initiatives by analysing space utilization data, occupancy trends and planning scenarios to maximise operational efficiency and support the client's strategic real estate objectives, in line with Vision 2030. It is an on-site position in Riyadh.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the workstream for the client's account in KSA and act as the main contact for occupancy planning and space optimization
• Gather, validate and establish baseline occupancy and workspace data, including space allocation and cost information, across the client's office portfolio
• Coordinate with the client and JLL Technology Team on the MREF Platform module for occupancy and space management, including user training and enhancements
• Maintain space budgets, stack plans and test fits, and support space planning that reflects local market conditions and cultural workplace preferences
• Identify space opportunities and consolidation potential, develop planning scenarios and support business cases for space rationalization or expansion
• Monitor occupancy levels and utilization trends, run regular dashboards and present findings to client leadership
• Analyze employee location, shared workspace, hoteling and space change data to drive recommendations

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Real Estate, Architecture, Interior Design, Facilities Management, Business Administration, Data Analytics or a related field; advanced degree or certifications such as LEED, IFMA or CoreNet Global preferred
• Minimum 5-7 years of progressive experience in occupancy planning, space management, workplace strategy or corporate real estate, including at least 2 years in a lead or senior role
• Experience with multi-site portfolios and with organizations in KSA or the GCC strongly preferred
• Fluent English; Arabic highly preferred

Required skills

• Space management platforms and occupancy tools (IWMS, CAFM)
• Advanced Microsoft Excel, Power BI or similar data visualization tools
• AutoCAD, Revit or space planning software is advantageous
• Project management, stakeholder management and analytical skills
