About the role
The Supervisor of Occupational Safety & Health ensures a safe and healthy work environment for hotel associates. The role involves assessing risks, inspecting hazards, and leading safety initiatives across the property.
Key responsibilities
- Assess and minimise risks in the hotel work environment to prevent illness and injury.
- Inspect hazardous factors, equipment and facilities, and ensure compliance with safety standards.
- Lead safety programmes, monitor conditions, report incidents and engage staff in safe practices.
- Support management with training, coaching and acting as the first point of contact for the Fair Treatment/Open Door Policy.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health and Safety from an accredited university.
- Minimum 2 years of relevant occupational safety experience.
- At least 1 year of supervisory experience.
Required skills
- Risk assessment and hazard identification.
- Hazard inspection and compliance monitoring.
