Assistant Manager - Reservations

About the role

The Assistant Manager – Reservations supports the solicitation and management of reservation sales opportunities for a Sheraton property in Saudi Arabia. The role involves training staff, driving revenue, and delivering exceptional customer service to build loyalty.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and close new reservation sales opportunities to meet personal and property revenue goals.
• Monitor same‑day selling procedures, manage wait‑lists, and track no‑show reservations.
• Negotiate contracts, generate proposals, and ensure accurate order entry in reservation systems.
• Provide training, work assignments, and performance guidance to Reservations Sales staff.
• Deliver service excellence throughout the guest experience, handling complaints according to pacification procedures.

Required profile

• High school diploma or GED with at least 3 years of sales, marketing, guest services, or front‑desk experience, OR a 2‑year degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Hotel & Restaurant Management with 1 year of relevant experience.
• Strong understanding of market dynamics, competitor analysis, and revenue‑maximizing strategies.
