Offshore Liaisonman (Drilling or Workover)

About the role

Eram Talent is recruiting a Liaisonman for offshore drilling or workover operations. The role sits on site and acts as the main link between the Operator's drilling or workover team, the drilling contractor and third-party service providers, ensuring safe, efficient and compliant operations.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the focal point between the Operator and the Drilling Contractor during offshore operations.
• Coordinate day-to-day drilling and workover activities with operational programs and schedules.
• Supervise drilling, completion and workover operations against the approved work program.
• Ensure safety, environmental and operational procedures are followed.
• Report operational updates, challenges and performance to the onshore drilling management team.
• Verify and endorse contractor and third-party daily reports, job tickets and timesheets.
• Take part in daily operations meetings and help plan and solve problems.
• Make sure equipment, materials and personnel are ready for planned operations.
• Support incident investigations and recommend corrective actions.
• Liaise with logistics, marine and procurement teams for mobilization and demobilization.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years in offshore operations or liaison roles; minimum 8 years of oilfield experience.
• Bachelor's degree or diploma in Petroleum Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Experience in drilling projects (jack-up, semi-sub, land rigs) or workover operations (completion, intervention, well servicing).
• Previous offshore experience with major operators or drilling contractors is mandatory.
• Valid offshore survival and medical certificates (e.g. BOSIET, HUET, OGUK).

Required skills

• Well control, drilling fluids, downhole tools, completions and well servicing.
• IWCF / IADC Well Control certification (Supervisor level preferred).
• Excellent communication, leadership and coordination skills.
• Ability to work under pressure in a multicultural offshore environment.
