O&M Infrastructure Engineer – Patch Team

About the role

The O&M Infrastructure Engineer – Patch Team will own the end‑to‑end automated patch management lifecycle for the company’s enterprise systems. You will evaluate, test and deploy patches for Microsoft, Red Hat Enterprise Linux and a range of critical applications while ensuring minimal disruption to operations.

Key responsibilities

• Review, evaluate and investigate all published patches before deployment.
• Execute automated patch deployment following strict enterprise change‑control procedures.
• Schedule patch windows to reduce system downtime and coordinate with operational teams.
• Maintain detailed records of testing, deployment, verification and post‑deployment performance.
• Generate regular reports on vulnerability status, patch compliance and remediation actions.
• Collaborate with IT teams to resolve patch‑related conflicts and issues.
• Monitor systems after patching and address any emerging problems.
