Operate and Manage Monitoring Tools Specialist

About the role

We are seeking a skilled Operate and Manage Monitoring Tools Specialist to design, deploy and maintain enterprise‑wide monitoring solutions across our Saudi Arabia operations. The role involves configuring, integrating and optimizing a range of monitoring platforms to ensure high availability and performance of servers, networks, applications and databases.

Key responsibilities

• Assess monitoring requirements and select appropriate tools for the organization.
• Deploy and configure monitoring solutions covering applications, servers, networks and databases.
• Set up thresholds, alerts, dashboards and custom notifications to detect incidents and performance degradation.
• Monitor the health of the monitoring tools themselves and optimise their performance.
• Integrate monitoring platforms with ITSM systems to streamline incident, problem and change management.
• Collaborate with incident response teams to troubleshoot and resolve alerts generated by the monitoring systems.
• Continuously evaluate tool performance, identify improvement opportunities and stay updated with industry best practices.
• Document configurations, share knowledge and promote monitoring maturity within the team.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Network Engineering or a related field.
• 2–4 years of hands‑on experience configuring, deploying and managing enterprise monitoring tools.
• Strong understanding of IT infrastructure components such as servers, networks, applications and databases.
• Proven ability to troubleshoot monitoring issues and work with vendors when required.
