Operating Supervisor – Sterile Pharmaceutical Production

About the role

We are seeking an Operating Supervisor to lead our sterile manufacturing and filling operations at the Dammam Plant. You will ensure compliance with GMP standards, drive operational excellence, and support quality and validation activities in a regulated pharmaceutical environment.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and supervise production teams during shifts, adhering to GMP and production schedules.
• Operate and oversee sterile equipment such as filling machines, autoclaves, tunnels, freeze dryers, vessels, and filter integrity testing.
• Ensure strict compliance with SOPs, POIs, GDP, and GMP throughout manufacturing and filling processes.
• Coordinate media fill activities, internal/external audits, validation, calibration, and qualification.
• Manage raw and packaging materials to meet production plans and oversee equipment cleaning, changeovers, and troubleshooting.
• Maintain accurate batch records, SOPs, forms, and POIs; track OEE, yield, and KPIs for continuous improvement.
• Support SAP‑related activities and cross‑functional performance trials.
• Promote aseptic practices, hygiene standards, and workplace safety while working rotating day/night shifts.

Required profile

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
• 12–15 years of experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing, preferably sterile production.
• Proven experience in sterile liquid filling (vials and ampoules) and supervisory roles.
• Strong knowledge of GMP, aseptic processing, and pharmaceutical production standards.
