Operations Lead – Ultra Fast Grocery (UTR)

About the role

Amazon Ultra Fast Grocery (UFG) is building a new fast‑delivery service in Saudi Arabia. We are looking for an Operations Lead to manage the Under‑the‑Roof (UTR) store operations, ensure high‑quality service, and drive continuous improvement across one large site or a network of smaller sites.

Key responsibilities

• Manage end‑to‑end UTR operations daily, supervising store activities and ensuring safety, quality, and productivity.
• Meet customer‑facing metrics while maintaining operational and quality targets.
• Drive performance management, coaching, and feedback for associates.
• Design and deliver training and development plans for pickers.
• Collaborate with merchant stakeholders to improve processes and sustain performance gains.
• Conduct daily 4M/5S and Safety GEMBA audits.
• Act as stand‑in for the Area Manager when required.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree.
• Experience in an operational role, preferably in a manufacturing or customer‑facing environment.
• Fluent in English and Arabic (spoken, written, and read).
• Strong record of achieving results and motivating teams.

Required skills

• Knowledge of 5S methodology.
• Experience conducting GEMBA audits.
