Senior Purchasing Specialist

About the role

The Senior Purchasing Specialist will manage end‑to‑end procurement activities, ensuring purchase orders are issued accurately, suppliers are sourced responsibly, and contracts are executed in line with company policies. This role supports operational excellence by coordinating deliveries, monitoring quality, and maintaining strong supplier relationships.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate issuance of purchase orders, monitor delivery schedules, and ensure compliance with contract terms.
• Validate purchase requests against the Delegation of Authority and obtain necessary stakeholder approvals.
• Source reputable suppliers, maintain an up‑to‑date supplier database, and oversee supplier performance.
• Process purchase requisitions, manage invoices, and ensure adherence to company procurement policies.
• Review and endorse supplier change requests, applying financial deductions as required.
• Generate reports on procurement activities, supplier performance, and contract compliance.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Procurement or a related field.
• 3–4 years of procurement or purchasing experience in a corporate or industrial environment.
• Fluency in Arabic and English.
• Preferred certifications: Certified Purchasing Professional (CPP) or Certified Professional in Supply Management (CPSM).
