Operator III – Offline Slitter Machine

About the role

The Primary Slitter Operator will run the main slitter machine in a plastic manufacturing environment, ensuring production targets are met while maintaining consistent quality according to customer specifications.

Key responsibilities

• Load mill rolls, set up the slitter and load paper cores to the required sizes.
• Verify set‑up accuracy against the Slitter Job Order and adhere to safety standards.
• Monitor and inspect the quality of slitted rolls, performing QC checks during and after slitting.
• Conduct visual inspections of winding quality and roll appearance.
• Test roll hardness with a test hammer and record results.
• Unload slitted rolls, transport them to the packing area, and label each roll.
• Enter production data into the Oracle/Bonfanti system and prepare shift reports.
• Maintain cleanliness of the slitter machine and surrounding area.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in a relevant field.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience operating slitter or similar machinery.
• Fluent English with strong written and oral communication skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Oracle/Bonfanti System Application for production data entry.
• Competence in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook).
