Paint Shop Process Technician – Jeddah

About the role

The Paint Shop Process Technician ensures smooth daily operations of the paint mix room and related equipment in an automotive paint shop. The role focuses on chemical preparation, paint and sealer control, dirt analysis, and process monitoring to meet production targets.

Key responsibilities

• Operate and monitor equipment to maintain proper process parameters for daily production.
• Maintain machinery, robot cells, and sealers, troubleshooting issues in PTED, Paint Mix Room, and related areas.
• Prepare materials according to the Process Control Plan for consumption or production changes.
• Control physical and chemical specifications of all materials and coordinate corrective actions with stakeholders.
• Conduct dirt‑control analysis to identify sources of contamination affecting paint quality.
• Perform predictive maintenance, identifying and fixing potential issues before they cause breakdowns.
• Execute mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic repairs and troubleshooting.
• Identify and implement process improvements focused on quality, cost, and environmental impact.
• Apply 5S methodology and enforce safety rules within the work area.
• Use lab equipment, chemicals, hand/power tools, electric meters, and material‑handling devices safely.

Required profile

• Technical High School diploma or higher in Chemistry, Mechanics, Electrical, Mechatronics or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years experience in an automotive paint shop process team.
• Hands‑on experience with dirt‑control analysis.
