Production Manager

About the role

The Production Manager will lead and optimise all aspects of production, from mixing to palletising, ensuring output meets SADAFCO’s standards and international best practices. The role focuses on cost‑effective, efficient operations while maintaining high quality and safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Implement the approved production strategy to meet factory and business goals.
• Plan and execute production activities to achieve time and budget targets.
• Identify and resolve bottlenecks using problem‑solving methodologies.
• Analyse performance data, identify trends and improvement opportunities, and communicate them using visual management.
• Lead continuous improvement, Lean initiatives, and audit the operating system (SOS).
• Ensure strict adherence to health, safety, and quality policies, including accident investigations and corrective actions.
• Manage quality control, reject non‑conforming products, and drive first‑time‑right production.
• Own total conversion costs, applying continuous improvement to optimise expenses.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Food Science/Technology or a related field.
• Minimum 6 years of relevant experience, preferably in dairy manufacturing.
• Proven leadership and ability to influence at all organisational levels.
• Experience working in multicultural, multinational teams.
• Ability to manage stress in a fast‑moving environment and take on additional responsibilities.
