About the role
AccorHotel is seeking an experienced Pastry Chef to lead the pastry production in its Makkah location. The role involves creating high‑quality pastries, cakes and desserts while maintaining the brand’s culinary standards.
Key responsibilities
- Follow recipes and develop new pastry, cookie and cake creations for the menu.
- Manage inventory by checking, ordering and stocking ingredients.
- Decorate pastries and desserts using sauces, toppings and intricate designs.
- Maintain a clean, hygienic work environment and operate a variety of kitchen equipment.
- Collaborate with sous chefs, line cooks and service staff to ensure timely delivery of dishes.
Required profile
- 5‑7 years of experience in chocolate artistry and modern cake design, including 2‑3 years in a leadership role.
- Strong leadership, team‑management and communication abilities.
- Passion for chocolate, cake design and delivering exceptional culinary experiences.
Required skills
- Advanced chocolate techniques and cake decoration styles.
- Expertise in dessert creation methods.
- Inventory management and kitchen equipment operation.
