PBX Operator (Saudi National) – Raffles The Red Sea

About the role

Raffles The Red Sea, part of the Red Sea Project in Saudi Arabia, is looking for a full-time PBX operator. The role covers answering calls, handling guest requests and acting as a central communication point, with a preference for candidates fluent in English and experienced in pre-opening.

Key responsibilities

• Answer all incoming and internal calls promptly using the approved Raffles greeting and etiquette, route calls, take messages and handle guest wake-up calls accurately and on time.
• Assist guests with inquiries and service requests, coordinate them with departments and support service recovery.
• Follow emergency procedures and act as a central communication point during emergencies, keeping contact lists up to date.
• Record and relay messages confidentially, maintain call logs, wake-up call records and extension lists.
• Uphold Raffles communication and grooming standards, keep guest information confidential and comply with hotel policies and data protection requirements.

Required profile

• Fluency in English is required; additional languages are a strong advantage.
• 1-2 years of experience in PBX, Front Office or Guest Services in a luxury or five-star hotel is preferred.
• Diploma or certificate in Hospitality or a related field is an advantage.
• Experience in pre-opening, including project coordination, scheduling and document control, is a must.
• Ability to work shifts, including nights, weekends and holidays.
