Pediatric Dentistry Registrar – Clinical Position

About the role

We are looking for a qualified Pediatric Dentistry Registrar to join our Pediatric Dentistry department. The role involves diagnosing and treating injuries or illnesses, examining patients, taking medical histories, prescribing medications, and providing health education and preventive care.

Key responsibilities

• Assess patients, document findings and design individualized care plans.
• Educate patients on their health condition, required investigations, treatment options and medication use.
• Counsel patients on diet, hygiene and disease prevention related to their cases.
• Order, review and interpret diagnostic tests and prescribe appropriate medications.
• Maintain accurate patient records and adhere to NCC policies, CBAHI standards and Saudi health regulations.
• Participate in NCC committees, quality‑improvement activities and continuous professional development of junior staff.
• Establish effective working relationships with other departments, agencies, vendors and patients’ families.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Medicine and Surgery; Master’s degree in a related specialty or a Fellowship approved by SCFHS.
• Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience after the Master’s degree or eligibility to sit the board examination in the specialty.
• Licensed as a Registrar in the relevant specialty by the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties (SCFHS).
• Fluent spoken and written English and Arabic.

Required skills

• Proficiency with office applications (e.g., Microsoft Office).
• Experience using Health Information Systems for patient data management.
