People Operations Lead

About the role

Unifonic, a fast‑growing SaaS startup recognized as a Great Place to Work®, is looking for a People Operations Lead to own end‑to‑end HR processes across Saudi Arabia, the Middle East and remote teams. You will partner with leadership to build scalable, high‑quality people practices that support rapid growth and a positive employee experience.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the full employee lifecycle – onboarding, off‑boarding, contracts and internal transitions.
• Maintain HRIS data accuracy, security and drive system implementations.
• Execute payroll, bonuses and compensation processes on schedule.
• Draft, review and update HR policies in line with Saudi labour law and regional regulations.
• Ensure compliance with labour legislation across all operating regions.
• Lead performance‑management cycles, including goal setting, reviews and feedback.
• Support managers with performance conversations, development plans and improvement actions.
• Identify and implement continuous‑improvement initiatives for HR operations.

Required profile

• Minimum 8 years of experience in HR operations or people management.
• Strong knowledge of Saudi Arabian and Middle‑East labour laws.
• Proven ability to manage HR systems, payroll and policy development.
• Excellent organizational skills with a focus on accuracy and compliance.
• Effective communicator who can partner with cross‑functional teams and senior leadership.
