Petroleum Engineer - Flow Assurance

About the role

Eram Talent is recruiting a Petroleum Engineer in Dhahran, Saudi Arabia, focused on flow assurance. The role is primarily office-based but may involve fieldwork, and may require round-the-clock availability to address operational challenges.

Key responsibilities

• Lead flow assurance activities for surface, subsurface and process systems.
• Perform multiphase flow modeling with OLGA (transient) and Pipesim (steady-state) and similar tools.
• Conduct fluid characterization using PVTsim, MULTIFLASH or equivalent software.
• Support production engineering, facility design and reservoir engineering projects.
• Take part in hydraulic-simulation-based concept-to-execution studies.
• Respond promptly to operational issues with swift, informed decisions.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical, Petroleum or Mechanical Engineering from an internationally recognized and approved program.
• At least 10 years in a petroleum engineering organization, including at least 5 years in flow assurance.
• Preferred: SPE certification.

Required skills

• Expertise in multiphase flow modeling and fluid characterization.
• Experience in production engineering, flow assurance and facility design.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Willingness to work with advanced multiphase simulators and to respond to operational situations 24/7.
