Pipelines Section Head

About the role

The Pipelines Section Head oversees all pipeline‑related activities, from construction and modification to operation, ensuring compliance with Saudi regulations and global industry standards. The role coordinates with licensees, reviews technical documentation, and leads a team of engineers and support staff.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and follow up on construction, modification, addition, and operation of pipelines, securing necessary permits.
• Supervise review of reports, route planning, connection‑point drawings, and specifications for pumps, valves, and measuring devices.
• Oversee review of design information, corrosion protection methods, testing procedures, control systems, and leak‑detection schemes.
• Provide recommendations for section development, support major modifications, and ensure pressure‑testing compliance.
• Manage human‑resources functions including performance planning, recruitment recommendations, and fostering a professional work environment.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Administrative Sciences, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
• Minimum of 6 years of experience in pipeline engineering or related disciplines.
• Proven ability to supervise technical reviews and coordinate with regulatory bodies.
