Procurement Manager – Real Estate Development

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Procurement Manager to build and lead the procurement function for a leading real‑estate development company. You will design procurement strategies, manage supplier relationships, and ensure timely acquisition of goods and services at optimal cost and quality.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement a comprehensive procurement strategy and governance framework from inception to full maturity.
• Oversee daily procurement activities including supplier evaluation, RFQs, tendering, bid opening, purchase order management and delivery follow‑up.
• Prepare tender documents, manage bid submissions, conduct technical and commercial evaluations, and recommend winning proposals.
• Lead negotiations, contract discussions and manage contract administration with suppliers and service providers.
• Maintain a qualified supplier network, monitor performance, pricing and service quality, and report insights to senior management.
• Establish procurement performance metrics, monitor budgets and support cost‑optimization initiatives.
• Mentor and develop the procurement team while coordinating with internal stakeholders.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Civil Engineering or a related field.
• 8–10 years of procurement experience, preferably in real‑estate development or project management.
• Proven track record in setting up procurement departments, tender management and contract administration.
• Professional procurement certifications are a plus.
