Procurement Officer – Supplier Management & Cost Savings

About the role

The Procurement Officer supports the organization by ensuring timely and accurate processing of purchase orders and related transactions. This role focuses on maintaining strong supplier relationships, optimizing costs, and guaranteeing that all procured goods meet quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain procurement guidelines, templates, and tools.
• Produce regular reports on supplier and contract performance.
• Build and sustain good relationships with vendors and suppliers.
• Review and analyse supplier options, pricing, and supply terms.
• Negotiate pricing and supply contracts in line with corporate procurement policies.
• Verify that products and supplies meet stakeholder quality requirements.
• Maintain an up‑to‑date list of suppliers, qualifications, delivery times, and development potential.
• Collect and manage procurement data in collaboration with stakeholders.
• Pre‑qualify suppliers according to procurement policy.
• Support system development with stakeholders when required.
• Conduct cost analysis and identify cost‑saving opportunities.
• Undertake any additional duties assigned by management.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, Commerce or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in procurement or a related discipline.
