Procurement Specialist – Construction Projects

About the role

The Procurement Specialist is responsible for managing the end‑to‑end procurement process for construction projects at Retal Urban Development. This includes sourcing, negotiating, and ensuring timely delivery of materials, services, and equipment while complying with company policies and legal requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and enforce procurement policies, procedures and systems in coordination with the Head of Procurement.
• Process purchase requisitions, issue RFQs/RFPs, evaluate supplier bids, and award contracts.
• Negotiate contract terms, monitor supplier performance, and manage relationships with local and offshore vendors.
• Coordinate delivery of materials with inventory and site managers to ensure project timelines are met.
• Prepare and maintain purchasing records, reports, price lists, and KPI dashboards.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a related field.
• Professional procurement and negotiation qualification.
• Extensive knowledge of local and international procurement laws and compliance.
• Proven experience in procurement, vendor management, and contract administration within the construction sector.
