Procurement Specialist – Data Analysis & Vendor Management

About the role

The Procurement Specialist will support ValCo, the Saudi Arabian entity of Valvoline Global Operations, by managing data analysis, contract oversight, and vendor relationships. The role works across departments to ensure procurement strategies are efficient, cost‑effective, and aligned with company goals.

Key responsibilities

• Collect, analyze, and interpret procurement and supply‑chain data from internal and external sources.
• Identify trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities to improve cost‑effectiveness and operational efficiency.
• Develop and maintain dashboards or analytical models tracking metrics such as cost savings, vendor performance, and spend analysis.
• Ensure data integrity by verifying accuracy and completeness of collected information.
• Provide actionable insights and recommendations to the procurement team and management.
• Coordinate with suppliers to resolve delayed shipments, damaged goods, or contractual non‑compliance.
• Assist in sourcing new vendors and evaluating their service offerings.
• Build and nurture relationships with key suppliers, evaluating performance using KPIs.

Required profile

• Strong attention to detail and technical proficiency.
• Excellent communication skills in both Arabic and English.
• Ability to work collaboratively across departments.
