Production Engineer – Manufacturing & Process Lead

About the role

Eaton is seeking a Production Engineer to lead production activities and collaborate closely with safety, engineering, quality, maintenance, and production teams. The role focuses on enhancing safety, quality, delivery, and cost through effective process design, lean manufacturing, SAP data integrity, and structured problem‑solving.

Key responsibilities

• Direct and coordinate plant operations to meet the production schedule.
• Establish and lead a team to ensure timely delivery of material to the shop floor.
• Schedule and conduct regular plant meetings.
• Control product quality throughout the production plan.
• Update factory production forecasts and report key figures monthly.
• Lead production planning across sales, project management, engineering, supply chain, and field operations.
• Manage logistics of GEIS components and modules, including tracking systems.
• Prepare complete order handling, including long‑ and short‑term planning and FAT coordination.
• Drive continuous improvement by identifying and implementing improvement plans.
• Maintain a safe working environment in line with Eaton‑MESH guidelines.
• Perform any additional tasks assigned by management.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Industrial Engineering or a related field.
• 8+ years of experience in a production, manufacturing, or fabrication environment.
• Proven experience in the electrical/electromechanical industry.
