Production Manager - HVAC Duct Manufacturing

About the role

An experienced Production Manager is sought to oversee and optimise all duct manufacturing operations in a duct manufacturing facility. The role covers HVAC duct fabrication, production planning, quality control and workforce management, and is based on site.

Key responsibilities

• Manage daily manufacturing operations for HVAC duct production.
• Plan, organise and monitor production schedules to meet customer requirements.
• Ensure compliance with SMACNA, ASHRAE and company quality standards.
• Optimise productivity, efficiency and resource utilisation.
• Monitor raw material consumption and inventory levels.
• Lead and supervise production supervisors, engineers and shop-floor personnel.
• Implement continuous improvement initiatives to increase output and reduce waste.
• Ensure strict adherence to health, safety and environmental regulations.
• Coordinate with sales, engineering, procurement and logistics departments.
• Prepare production reports, KPIs and performance analyses.
• Manage machine maintenance and production equipment utilisation.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering or a related field.
• 8-15+ years of experience in HVAC duct manufacturing.
• Minimum 3-5 years in a Production Manager or senior leadership role.
• Good command of Arabic and English.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of duct fabrication, sheet metal manufacturing and HVAC products.
• Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing and production planning systems.
• Leadership, problem-solving and decision-making skills.
