Production Operator

About the role

We are looking for a Production Operator to ensure smooth, safe, and efficient operation of our manufacturing line. The role involves preparing documentation, running machines according to instructions, and collaborating with quality and maintenance teams to meet production targets.

Key responsibilities

• Validate the availability of all required documents (JFT, IFM, bag tags, etc.) before each job start‑up.
• Operate machinery following Work Instructions and IFM to guarantee safe runnability.
• Troubleshoot issues and request support when needed to minimise downtime.
• Work with the QC inspector to confirm that first‑run quality meets specifications.
• Conduct self‑inspection using the OCL sheet and sign off results.
• Report any quality defects to QC and the Team Leader for corrective action.
• Request maintenance support for repairs and oversee corrective maintenance.
• Assign tasks to helpers, maintain 5S standards, and communicate bag and pallet requirements.
• Enter daily production data into DPR and ERP systems and relay it to the Team Leader.
• Complete machine‑parameter forms for approval and system logging.
• Verify product and pallet labels for correct details and packing mode.

Required profile

• Ability to follow detailed work instructions and documentation procedures.
• Strong attention to detail for quality and labeling checks.
• Effective communication with QC, maintenance, and helpers.
