Production Section Manager

About the role

alfanar Electric is looking for a Production Section Manager to manage daily production activities so that manufacturing plans are executed efficiently, on approved schedules and within cost requirements. The role coordinates manpower, materials, equipment and production priorities to meet output and delivery targets.

Key responsibilities

• Manage daily production in line with approved plans and schedules, allocating work, priorities, manpower and equipment and monitoring progress, output, productivity and resource use.
• Address delays, bottlenecks and operational issues to keep workflow running and meet production targets on time.
• Review production processes, reduce waste, rework and downtime, and promote continuous improvement.
• Supervise the production team, coach employees, identify training needs and foster accountability and teamwork.
• Coordinate with Planning, Engineering, Procurement, Warehouse, Maintenance and Quality teams on material availability, equipment readiness and drawings, and take part in production reviews.
• Maintain accurate production records, report progress and delays, and monitor key performance indicators.
• Ensure a safe, secure and legal work environment in line with standard regulations.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a relevant field.
• 10-15 years of experience.
• Ability to recruit, develop and manage high performers, and to handle low performers fairly.
• Proactive problem solving, timely decision-making and ability to turn corporate goals into business plans.
• Ability to control budgets and expenses and to adapt to new technologies and management structures.
