Project Control Manager

About the role

Mobco Group is looking for an experienced Project Control Manager to lead the planning, scheduling, cost control and performance reporting of its construction projects across Saudi Arabia. The successful candidate will work closely with senior management and cross‑functional teams to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget and to the required quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the Project Controls function for assigned projects, developing and maintaining baseline schedules and integrated master programmes.
• Use Primavera P6 to create, update and monitor project schedules, identifying deviations and recommending corrective actions.
• Manage cost control activities, including budgets, commitments, actual costs, accruals and forecasts.
• Prepare monthly cost reports, cash‑flow forecasts and financial performance analyses.
• Analyse project trends, delays and cost overruns, and develop recovery or acceleration plans.
• Maintain risk registers, change control logs and assess cost/schedule impacts of variations.
• Coordinate with Project Management, Planning, Commercial, Contracts, Procurement, Engineering and Construction teams.
• Produce weekly and monthly project control dashboards and management presentations.
• Mentor and develop Planning, Cost Control and Project Controls team members.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Engineering, Project Management or a related field.
• Minimum 12 years of experience in Project Controls within reputable construction or contracting companies.
• Proven expertise in both planning/scheduling and cost control.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to present performance data to senior leadership.
