Project Director – EPC/LSTK Projects

About the role

We are looking for an accomplished Project Director to lead large‑scale lump‑sum EPC/LSTK projects in the oil & gas and energy sector. The role involves overseeing the full project lifecycle from award through commissioning and handover, while driving strategic execution and stakeholder alignment.

Key responsibilities

• Direct execution of EPC/LSTK projects, ensuring delivery on schedule, budget, quality, and HSE targets.
• Provide strategic leadership to multidisciplinary teams across engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning.
• Manage commercial and contractual aspects, including risk mitigation, claims avoidance, and change management.
• Develop and maintain executive‑level relationships with clients, JV partners, contractors, and key stakeholders.
• Drive project governance, reporting, forecasting, and performance management.
• Ensure compliance with contractual requirements and company standards.
• Mentor senior project personnel and foster a high‑performance culture.

Required profile

• Degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline.
• Minimum 18 years of industry experience, including at least 10 years in Project Director or senior project management roles.
• Proven delivery of large‑scale lump‑sum EPC/LSTK projects, especially pipeline installation.
• Experience with leading international EPC contractors.
• Track record of managing multicultural teams across multiple locations.
